Grow your own ladybirds from eggs to adults. Ladybirds and their larvae are beneficial garden predators and eat a wide variety of pest species like aphids, scale insects, mealy bugs etc.

As well as protecting your plants they are a fascinating nature project, the eggs are elongated and orange/yellow colour, once these hatch they develop into ladybird larvae, which also consume large numbers of aphids before they pupate and become adults.

This grow your own Ladybird kit contains everything you need to grow your own ladybirds from eggs to adults. Once grown, simply release into the garden, or on to an affected plant and they’ll keep your crops free from troublesome pests.

  • A small brush for handling the eggs and larvae.

  • A prepaid voucher card for ordering the ladybird eggs and food.

Ask us a question

Ladybird populations are declining in the UK. Both Ladybird adults and their Ladybird larvae are voracious eaters and can make a real difference to greenfly infestations both under glass and outside.

Adult Ladybirds lay up to 50 yellow Ladybird eggs per day under the leaves of plants and up to 1500 in their Ladybird lifetime to continue the cycle of natural pest control.
