I had one or two problems setting the propagator up, but with the help of the Gardening Angels, I finally managed to work out what to do. I have been pleasantly surprised by the results: for several years I tried to grow cuttings of my Kerria with no success and now I see three out of five so far are starting to produce decent roots! I bought more than a year ago a hydropod for cuttings and a vitopod with heating allowing me to sow early in January already. The first year, I used both of then indoors, with a reasonable success. This year, I moved it all to the greenhouse. With indoor heating in the greenhouse (to 5 degrees Celsius, allowing the citrus, pelargoniums and fuchsias to overwinter) and good isolation, it all worked perfect - as the light made the difference. If I would have to use the vitopod or hydropod again indoors, I would certainly add some light. All in all excellent equipment. If you don't have it yet, certainly worth to invest in it. The very best piece of greenhouse kit I have ever bought. One year on i have my 40 unit heated kit stuffed with about a hundred cuttings! Surfinias thrive in it as do fuchsia and ivy geraniums. Just wish I had the larger heated version with lights, but there is always crimble,no wait, crimble is vito pod!! Brilliant stuff, brilliant company. I saw the mist propagator on Gardener's World and found it for sale on GS. I purchased it online and payed with Sage. I got a bonus discount for signing up for the newsletter. I ordered a Hydropod online, after it was included in the Gardeners World programme so I wasn't expecting to receive my goods straight away. I received an email the day after ordering explaining that due to popular demand there had been a shortage of heaters to accompany the Hydropod but that Greenhouse Sensation would send the rest of my order to avoid delay - this came at exactly the time stated, within 2 days of my order and the heater arrived 2 days after that! Took 40 cuttings from a 'rogue' petunia that doesn't seem to recognise hard frost 14 days ago. This morning 32 of the cuttings have already rooted and they all look as fresh as when they were first taken. Does exactly what it says on the tin! amazing piece of kit. When I ordered my propagator at the beginning of October I thought I'd probably missed the boat for this year, but I already have half a dozen healthy rooted cuttings growing on. I'm currently away from home but totally confident that for once, it doesn't matter that I haven't been able to do a daily check, and that my cuttings are progressing - instead of dying - in my absence. The Hydropod unit is amazing. So easy to use and visible root formation in about 18 days. I now have another 40 chrysanthemums from the 'pinching' out earlier in the season which would otherwise have been discarded. I am sure that the will be further occasions when I return to Greenhouse Sensation to purchase more from their range.Quality

To be honest it has constantly surpassed my expectations year after year . In the last three months I have produced over 1000 seedlings from 4 of the 120 site units ! Ordered the Hydropod Propagator on Wednesday evening, received Friday morning bang on the time stated.Quality
15 Carnation & 20 Pinks cuttings as well 5 Penstemons in by Friday evening, first roots showing on the following Friday. Nothing showing on the Pinks or Carnations yet but I didn't expect any roots for at least 3 weeks.
