Our Click & Drip irrigation systems include everything you need to efficiently keep your crops watered without wasting a drop. Perfect for raised beds, borders and veg plots. Our kits are easy to install with no fiddly connections, simply attach one of our Click & Drip kits to your mains tap or waterbutt. When plants are watered by a watering can as little as 10% to 30% of the water reaches the root of the plants. The rest of the water runs off or evaporates. The slow drip irrigation rate of the Click & Drip means that the soil has chance to absorb the water rather than it forming puddles and evaporating or running off.

The Click & Drip releases water slowly and evenly through drip irrigation pipe so that your plants take up the water before it forms puddles which evaporate. The drip holes are spaced 30cms apart and are carefully designed to open with internal pressure, so they allow water out but won’t become blocked when hidden under soil, mulch and bark.

Our complete irrigation kits are easy to extend with our Easy fit connectors and additional lengths of irrigation and non-drip pipe. Add an Electronic Water timer to fully automate your irrigation and water your plants while you’re on holiday or even if you can’t make it to your veg plot daily. Simply click our Electronic Water timer on to your outside mains tap or waterbutt and your raised beds, pots, growbags, veg plots or decorative boarders can be automatically watered.

The Electronic Water Timer gives you the option to choose between day/time and frequency setting, as well as a manual override function for giving plants extra water on hotter days. This efficient water timer has a clever built in sensor skips watering sessions whilst it is raining, so that your plants never get overwatered and its integrated solar panel will keep the batteries fully charged.

Our 100L and 250L waterbutts are a perfect alternative to hose pipes and a great way to collect and use rain water (saving you a few pennies in the meantime). Our waterbutts are lightweight and durable and make a great addition to your garden with the additional option of a stand if needed. However if you’re short of space then our 25L mini Waterbutt Reservoir could be perfect for you. It’s compact so will fit nicely in your greenhouse or polytunnel on staging. The beauty of our 25L waterbutt is you can fill it up with your hose to save you traipsing to and from the garden tap with a full watering can several times a day. All our waterbutts work perfectly with our Click & Drip irrigation Kits or you can simply attach it to your currently irrigation kit.

Plants need to constantly replace the water they use, but over watering prevents roots from accessing oxygen and is the number one cause of plant demise. If the soil is over-watered the pores in the soil become blocked and the roots can’t access the air in the soil. The lack of oxygen means that the roots can’t take up water or nutrients. A plant weakened over-watering becomes susceptible to disease, particularly fungal attacks. If the over-watering is repeated the roots suffocate and die.

If plants don’t receive enough water then they will not be able to carry out the basic functions for cell growth and overall health including transporting minerals and nutrients, photosynthesis and transpiration.
