Add your plants to the clay pebble growing medium and the kit pumps water and nutrients from the integrated reservoir up to the plant roots. Any excess nutrient solution not needed by the plants drains back into the reservoir. Simply keep the integral reservoir topped up every couple of days.
Your Ebb & Flood Hydrogrow comes complete with everything you need including clay pebbles. The kit is easy to set-up and comes with fully assembly and maintenance instructions. One season’s supply of specially formulated plant nutrients is also included.
Add a Holiday Watering Kit and your plants will be fed with nutrient solution for up to two weeks, taking care of weekends away and holidays.

How it Works
The GS300 and GS400 hydro systems use the Ebb & Flood
technique, s
o called because water and nutrients are pumped
into the root zone until it floods. The water and nutrient then drains (Ebbs) out, pulling oxygen into the root zone in the process.
In a Ebb & Flood hydro system the plants are placed in a planter with clay pebbles, that sits above a reservoir. A nutrient solution (nutrient & water) is automatically pumped from the reservoir to flood the planter at preset intervals. The nutrient solution then drains away into the reservoir tank.
Because Ebb & Flood hydro systems provide an incredibly healthy root zone, they are ideal for long-term plants like herbs, bananas, ginger, orchids or palms.
