Plants and flowers in the Windowgrow grow more quickly and produce bigger harvests because they are automatically provided with the perfect balance of water and nutrients. Plants are kept nourished and healthy, with the strength to raise a bumper harvest – more quickly.  

Your plants and flowers are never over-watered or under-watered, great news when you consider that these are the two most common causes of many gardening problems. You won’t hear Windowgrow growers complaining of brown, crisp leaves or yellow, wilting leaves!

Develops Greener Fingers

Whether you are completely new to gardening or have been growing for years, the Windowgrow will help you to develop greener fingers.

Because you can see how much water has been taken from the reservoir each day you’ll develop a keen understanding of how the amount of water plants need differs according to soil dampness, plant size, light levels and weather conditions. So you’ll soon be watering in-line with the plants’ needs.

Thanks to the automatic watering there is no guesswork involved and never any danger of over-watering or under-watering – the causes of the most common gardening problems. 

Grow anywhere

At just 70cm long and 15cm wide its the perfect size for windowsills and table tops, simply choose a fairly sunny space.  Unlike a window box, you can use the Windowgrow indoors, so there’s no need to attach brackets to your windows and because the reservoir is self-contained you don’t have to worry about leaks.

Holiday-proof Watering

With an integrated reservoir, you can go away for the weekend without a worry. The Windowgrow will keep your plants and flowers perfectly fed and watered and fed for up to 3 weeks (depending on the weather and the size of your plants).  In summer you can leave your plants and flowers for two weeks as long as you move the planter into a shadier area. 

A head start

The lid keeps soil warm so that seeds germinate more quickly and you can be enjoying your harvests in just 6 weeks.

• Fill the reservoir with water and plant food provided and insert the Smart-Mat Strip into the slots.
  
  
• Add compost to the growing tray and your Windowgrow is now ready for sowing or planting. 
  
  
• The automatic watering is provided by the Smart Mat Strip that takes up water up from the reservoir to the soil in the growing tray. They ensure the plants always receive the perfect balance of water, nutrients and oxygen, putting an end to under-watering and over-watering.
  
  
• Simply keep the reservoir topped up every couple of days with water and the specially formulated plant food included.

Microgreens 

Fabulously delicious, especially if you are stuck for time or space, Microgreens are vegetable seedlings harvested between 6 and 20 days old for their excellent flavour. Catching the seedlings early means they are full of nutrients, intense in taste and vibrant in colour- great for salads and pastas. 

Tasty  examples- Chard, Basil, Radish, Broccoli, Carrots, Swiss Chard, Red Cabbage, Garlic, Celery. 

Flowers and Decoratives 

You can even use the Windowgrow to sow and grow some beautiful flowers and decoratives on your Windowsill.

Petunias, Snap Drago, Marigolds, Pansies, Geraniums and Flowering Kale all grow beautifully in a Windowgrow.
