Simply add young plants to the 11 litre pots which encourage big, thick roots to develop, fill the reservoir with water and the nutrients included and let the SmartMats provide the right amount of water at the right times.
The SmartMats pull water up from the reservoir by capillary action as and when the plants need it and the feeder tray separates the soil from standing water to ensure quick, strong, healthy growth. Add the optional pot lids to bring plants on and to protect them from the cold and frost.

How it Works
How it Works
The SmartMats take water from the Reservoir up to the soil in the each of the pots when the plants need it. This ensures your plants always receive the perfect balance of water, nutrients and oxygen, putting an end to under-watering and over-watering.
The reservoir is continuously topped up by the Holiday Watering Kit thanks to the water regulator. Simply add water and our specially formulated plant food to the Holiday Watering Kit’s 25 litre bucket every two weeks and your plants will have constant access to nourishment

Water butt Connector – simply connects straight to your Quadgrow or Octogrow and your water butt to keep your plants fed and watered for even longer periods. Very useful if you are going on a long summer holiday when your plants have become very large.
