Made In England By Greenhouse Sensation

Special Price: 2 x Quadgrows for £69.90

Perfect For Growing Tomatoes, aubergines, sweet peppers, beans, cucumbers, courgettes and peas.

Harvests are 2x bigger when grown in a Quadgrow self-watering Tomato Planter compared with growbags or pots.

This is because the Quadgrow maintains perfect moisture levels for up to 14 days at a time. In a Quadgrow the soil is never too dry or waterlogged. The roots also have better access to oxygen which fuels faster growth.

Each of the pots in the Quadgrow has a FeederMat which pulls water up from the SmartReservoir into the soil around the roots as and when the plant needs it. Growing an impressive crop has never been easier.

Your tomato plants will be stronger and healthier because there's no risk of any erratic watering which often causes root rot, split fruit and blossom end rot.

Nominated for best space-saving product and most innovative gardening product by Grow Your Own magazine readers. Ideal for growing in greenhouses, polytunnels and on patios.

Featured on BBC’s Beechgrove Garden. Watch the full video review here.

Quadgrow Media Review - Roger Backhouse - Garden Writer & Allotment Holder

Our Quadgrow self-watering planter is a great alternative to growing vegetables in pots and growbags and is the perfect way to grow your own tomatoes. The Quadgrow planter produces healthier plants and bigger harvests by providing plants with constant access to water without ever over-watering.

What happens when we overwater?
Overwatering prevents roots from accessing oxygen and is the number one cause of plant demise.

When soil is over-watered the pores in the soil become blocked and the roots can't access the air in the soil. Roots need access to oxygen in order to absorb water and nutrients, so lack of oxygen means that the roots can't take up water or nutrients. A plant weakened by overwatering is susceptible to disease, particularly fungal attacks. If the over-watering is repeated the roots suffocate and die.

What happens when we under-water?
Underwatered plants don’t have enough water to make glucose for photosynthesis, for developing cells and for two other critical functions.

1: Transporting nutrients and glucose
Water is needed to carry nutrients from the soil and glucose from the leaves to the other parts of the plant. This is why the calcium deficiency blossom end rot is often caused by erratic watering even if there is sufficient calcium in the soil but not enough water to transport it to the tomatoes.

2: Accessing carbon dioxide
Plants access the carbon dioxide they need for photosynthesis by opening the pores on their leaves and stems. When the pores open they also release water. If the plant is short of water it won't open the pores as often and therefore it won't photosynthesise as much, which will lead to lack of glucose and stunted growth. Sunny, hot weather and windy conditions increase the rate of water loss through the pores, so plants need more water in these conditions.

My Greenhouse Sensation's Quadgrow rammed full of chillies Review by Alan Lord
Quality
My Greenhouse Sensation's Quadgrow rammed full of chillies. I have harvested about 1.5Kg of Yellow 7 Pots from this one plant already and there's probably a similar amount still to come. The plants in the Quadgrow are roughly 3 to 4 times the size of the rest of my chilli plants which are in 10ltr pots. More Quadgrows are definitely on my Christmas list for this year : -D (Posted on 01/10/2014)

The Quadgrow and chilligrows that I have are awesome Review by Kevin Weston
Quality
Can I say that the Quadgrow and chilligrows that I have are awesome. Without doubt they are the best bit of kit I've got. Will defiantly be getting some more of them for next season. I planted up some Carolina reapers, these were a good two months later than the rest of my crop, after putting them into the Quadgrows they have now caught up with the rest of my plants. Totally amazing. (Posted on 27/08/2014)

It's so wonderful to NOT have to run outside lugging watering cans every night after work Review by Annette, Worcester
It's so wonderful to NOT have to run outside lugging watering cans every night after work, in a feeble attempt to try and keep the tomatoes evenly watered. My plants are now flowering and setting fruit, and I'm looking forward to a bumper harvest of beautiful toms... (Posted on 22/03/2012)

Miles better than tradition plant pots Review by julian
I grew peppers under identical conditions, in the Quadgrow and in a normal plant pot. The experiment wasn't completely scientific, but the Quadgrow plants grew at roughly three times the rate, and produced much healthier plants with a much bigger crop of fruit. Have since used it to grow fantastic basil. Two or three other people have bought them after seeing the results I was getting. (Posted on 12/03/2012)
