Perfect For Growing Tomatoes, aubergines, peppers, beans, cucumbers, courgettes and more...

Harvests are 2x bigger when grown in a Quadgrow planter compared with growbags or pots.

This is because the Quadgrow maintains perfect moisture levels for up to 14 days at a time. In a Quadgrow the soil is never too dry or waterlogged. The roots also have better access to oxygen which fuels faster growth.

Each of the pots in the Quadgrow has a FeederMat which pulls water up from the SmartReservoir to the roots when the plant needs it. Just top-up the SmartReservoir when it runs low.

Your plants will be stronger and healthier because there's no risk of any erratic watering which often causes root rot, split fruit and blossom end rot.

Nominated for best space-saving product and most innovative gardening product by Grow Your Own magazine readers. Ideal for greenhouses, polytunnels and on patios.

Free Feed: Includes 2.5 Litres of award-winning Nutrigrow Plant Feed worth £10.99.

Quadgrow Media Review - Roger Backhouse - Garden Writer & Allotment Holder

Our Quadgrow self-watering planter is a great alternative to growing vegetables in pots and growbags and is the perfect way to grow your own tomatoes. The Quadgrow planter produces healthier plants and bigger harvests by providing plants with constant access to water without ever over-watering.

What happens when we overwater?
Overwatering prevents roots from accessing oxygen and is the number one cause of plant demise.

When soil is over-watered the pores in the soil become blocked and the roots can't access the air in the soil. Roots need access to oxygen in order to absorb water and nutrients, so lack of oxygen means that the roots can't take up water or nutrients. A plant weakened by overwatering is susceptible to disease, particularly fungal attacks. If the over-watering is repeated the roots suffocate and die.

What happens when we under-water?
Underwatered plants don’t have enough water to make glucose for photosynthesis, for developing cells and for two other critical functions.

1: Transporting nutrients and glucose
Water is needed to carry nutrients from the soil and glucose from the leaves to the other parts of the plant. This is why the calcium deficiency blossom end rot is often caused by erratic watering even if there is sufficient calcium in the soil but not enough water to transport it to the tomatoes.

2: Accessing carbon dioxide
Plants access the carbon dioxide they need for photosynthesis by opening the pores on their leaves and stems. When the pores open they also release water. If the plant is short of water it won't open the pores as often and therefore it won't photosynthesise as much, which will lead to lack of glucose and stunted growth. Sunny, hot weather and windy conditions increase the rate of water loss through the pores, so plants need more water in these conditions.

water control valves quads are well made Review by smudge
Quality
Just received the quadgrows yesterday opened up this morning NO WATER CONTROL VALVES ,WHY????? apparently you have to purchase the holiday kit , instead of just two quadgrows .I do not want another water tank to go with the 100ltr. tank 2 times 250 gall. water butts. and various other water tanks around the g/house. I should have realized ,really annoyed. (Posted on 30/12/2016)
Tomatotastic! Review by Liamalone
Quality
Been using my Quadgrows for 2 years now and the tomato crop has been superb. This year I have purchased seeds from specialist providers, rather than the Lidl ones I planted in the previous year (which were prolific too), and the crop has been outstanding with perfect tomatoes with no blossom rot or splitting.

I have 4 Quadgrows, use and replace the Greenhouse Sensation feed (I have just opened my second packets last week for this year) and have 16 tomato plants happily producing mountains of excellent fruit. the vines have grown so long in the polytunnel that they are arched across and attached to the opposing plant pointing to the floor and one of two plants are nearly 10 feet long. Considering buying another polytunnel and 4 more Quadgrows next year - Ah. The fruits of success. (Posted on 08/09/2016)
Really excellent product Review by john
Quality
I bought two quadgrows earlier this year alongwith the holiday watering kit and grew 8 tomato plants ( Shirley). I am now a total convert! The chore of watering is greatly simplified but most importantly the quality of the plants and fruit is absolutely first class. No splitting, blossom end rot etc, just an abundance of superb tasting tomatoes. I plan to purchase another quadgrow and several chilligrows for next year. Well done Greenhouse Sensation. Sexy products with stunning design Review by Warren
Quality
Father Christmas bought me a big double-decker Vitopod and he made an excellent choice (I did put it on my Xmas list tho)! Well made and very, very sexy looking - my carnivorous plants moved in so they could be warm in the cold of the February sun and are over the moon. They're so happy they're refusing to countenance the idea of moving out which means I'll need another Vitopod for the seed propagating it was originally intended for. Grrr...!

GS - am currently using the wife's mink coat as a protector against frost damage of the Vitopod as it's outdoors - do you sell a protective cover?

On the strength of the Vitopod I have bought two Quadgrows for the greenhouse veg - haven't put them to work yet but I have no doubt as to how effective they'll be. They are really robust - so much so I am about to order two more units on behalf a gardening client without even having tried them out myself yet.

If you thought sugar was addictive, you'll find Garden Sensation's kit even more difficult to resist!

A great British product! Review by Guy Fiver
Quality
I ordered two Quadgrow planters at the beginning of this year, hoping to improve the performance of my sweet pepper plants which had never produced anything of significant size or quality while growing in the soil in my polytunnel. I originally set up both planters on the greenhouse staging, but after two months one variety of peppers was pushing on the roof so much that I had to move the whole setup into the polytunnel to give them more room to grow.
I've had a glut of tomatoes before, (as many gardeners often do) but never a glut of peppers. My neighbors usually benefit from my tomato glut, this year they had both tomatoes and peppers. As I write on the 21st of December I still have 7 plants with fruits on, varying from green to orange, still going strong on the plant food supplied with the Quadgrow system.
Hoping to get the same fantastic results with chilli production I recently ordered two chilligrow planters.
Can't wait to get started on those. Meanwhile, I had better go and lower the staging in the greenhouse !
A great British product, thank you Greenhouse Sensation. (Posted on 30/03/2016)
the best chance of improving the yield from our tomatoes and chillis Review by David Swan

Great qualiity of product and service.

We live in France and placed an order from here to be delivered to a friend's house in England. This was carried out extremely quickly and without question.

We had to wait for our friend to come to France but we got our hands on the boxes today and are very satisfied. We have been using a Vitopod for some years and feel that the Quadgrow Planters will give us the best chance of improving the yield from our tomatoes and chillis. (Posted on 30/03/2016)

Saw this system featured on the Beechgrove Garden programme in early 2015 and thought it was a great idea.
It has proven to be even better than I ever expected, yields and quality 1st class. We purchased 2 x Quadrow + Holiday watering kit -1 pot was cracked upon receipt - replaced promptly so great customer service too. My parents saw our setup and wanted one for Christmas - sorted...! I do recommend this system 100%. (Posted on 21/01/2016)
Quadgrow Planters - Great Products Review by JayJay
Quality
Back in April 2015 I bought 2 Quadgrow Planters. 2 of the 8 pots were damaged in transit. I contacted the Supplier and was sent replacements straight away, with no quibble.

I used both Planters for growing Tomatoes and had decent crops but what was noticeable was the lack of Blossom End Rot with these Tomatoes. This is due to the capillary matting that keeps the compost evenly moist so one doesn't have to worry about watering apart from keeping the reservoir topped up. The planters are also supplied with 2 containers of feed, more than enough for the season. (I experienced some Blossom End Rot with Tomatoes I grew in bottomless pots).

I was so pleased with the results that I purchased another Quadgrow plus the Quadgrow Root Veg Planter, which arrived last week. An added bonus was the wrappings of Bubble Wrap which will be helpful if we get some Winter cold this year!
I heartily recommend Greenhouse Sensation's Service and particularly Quadgrow Planters. (Posted on 21/12/2015)

My best ever Greenhouse Tomatoes Review by Les Klieman
Quality
I feel I must write to say my first experience with Quadgrow +Holiday watering kit confirms your system as the only way I shall grow my Greenhouse crops in future. My "Big Daddy " and "Ferline" Beefsteak tomatoes are enormous! But above all , the taste and sweetness is superb.Your supplied feed has worked so well.In previous years Blossom end rot caused me much dissappointment-even though I tried to prevent it as best I could,This year not a single tomato has been affected.
My daughter has already placed an order for a Quadgrow system to be at the top of her Christmas' present list so impressed is she by my success.
Many thanks

Streets ahead of those grown in my conventional way! Review by Patrick
Quality
I was Intrigued when I first read about your quadgrows and like a lot of gardening equipment didnt think it could possibly be as good as you claimed. However, having just purchased a new greenhouse thought I would give it a try anyway. That year my tomatos and peppers grown in the quadgrow were streets ahead of those grown in my conventional way, in bottomless pots. I found them so easy to use solving all my watering problems and giving me the best crop I could remember with little effort.

Self confessed Quadgrow addict Review by Hannah King

Greenhouse sensation have become a bit of a lifeline for my gardening needs. I like to grow as much as possible in my courtyard and I've bought several Quadgrows and Chilligrows. What amazing products. For the first time I've been able to achieve bumper harvests and don't have to water the plans every day. They even take care of the nutrients. The Gardening 'angels' are just that! They've answered a myriad of my beginners questions. Delivery is always prompt and the products themselves are great with clear instructions and everything you need to get started even including nutrients for healthy plants. Amazing company and very helpful staff! (Posted on 25/08/2015)
Does more than it says on the tin Review by Paul
Quality
Bought 4 quadgrows last year ready for this season with 3 quadgrows for tomatoes fed from a 100litre butt and one quadgrow for cucumbers fed from the 25 litre holiday watering kit.
What a result -- the toms are ripening well, just started cropping, and the cucumbers are like bunches of grapes -- we recently harvested 14 one day and 12 the next. The saving in watering is great -- on hot days both the toms and cucumbers are taking ca 13 litres of feed a day.-- in fact I am setting up another water butt for feeding the cucumber quadgrow next season. This system is absolutely brilliant both for labour saving and for the amount of crop.
Only suggestion is that if you are buying the holiday watering kit with the water butt connector make sure that the water butt has a ' hozelock' type valve ie with 2 ridges otherwise the watering system fitting will not seal. ( valves available on ebay)

Great products --- nice people to deal with (Posted on 18/07/2015)

Have bought recently two chilli grow and Two quad grow the greenhouse 25lt water butt and timer. Am really pleased with the quality of the goods and the speed with which they arrived. I am using the chilli grow in the greenhouse and the quadgrow outside. So far all is looking really good and the fact I don't need to water so often is fantastic! The water butt in the greenhouse is very useful and means I don't have to keep going outside to get water. I haven't had need of the timer yet but it looks well made and easy to use. Would definitely recommend this company.

My Quadgrows are fantastic and my tomato plants are looking very healthy! I have been raving about how fantastic Quadgrows are to everyone who shows even a remote interest in my tomatoes. I tried the quadgrows for the first time this season and have had a great result ewith my tomatoes, cucumbers and peppers. I have an automatic watering system in my greenhouse but in previous years have had limited success due to overwatering/underwatering. Couldn't seem to get it right. But with the quadgrow everything was spot on, even when I was away in my caravan the quadgrow took care of feeding/watering as all I had to do was fill the reservoir with sufficient feed and water to cover my absence.Great product, love it. My Greenhouse Sensation's Quadgrow rammed full of chillies Review by Alan Lord
Quality
My Greenhouse Sensation's Quadgrow rammed full of chillies. I have harvested about 1.5Kg of Yellow 7 Pots from this one plant already and there's probably a similar amount still to come. The plants in the Quadgrow are roughly 3 to 4 times the size of the rest of my chilli plants which are in 10ltr pots. The Quadgrow and chilligrows that I have are awesome Review by Kevin Weston
Quality
Can I say that the Quadgrow and chilligrows that I have are awesome. Without doubt they are the best bit of kit I've got. Will defiantly be getting some more of them for next season. I planted up some Carolina reapers, these were a good two months later than the rest of my crop, after putting them into the Quadgrows they have now caught up with the rest of my plants. Totally amazing. (Posted on 27/08/2014)

This is a great product not only dose it mean my plants have the right amount of water they are growing at twice the rate of all my others. Im also using less water with the 2 quad grows and 2 chilli grows I got this year. I will definitely be ordering 2 more quad grows for next season. Although both products are great I think the quad grow is better value due to the material it is made from being more robust but overall im extremely pleased with both products and the service I received. Delighted - incredible results Review by Mike & Sue
Quality
We have had great success with both Quadgrows. We started our Runner Beans outside using the covers provided. The results are incredible.

Today we had our 3rd picking of beans, much better than imported supermarket produce. We have used the Quadgrow to grow carrots, spring onions and radish. We have just started another planting of carrots. Hopefully we will be picking veg well into the autumn.

It all started with a small plot vacated by a 2 metre x 2 metre car trailer.

The results exceed all expectations and we are highly delighted with this product. We are not expert growers in any way and therefore if we can do it then anyone with a small space to spare can get great enjoyment and more importantly excellent fresh veg.

Again thank you for introducing us to such an excellent idea and will would definitely recommend this product to others.

Great Product - Treat Yourself Review by Lauren
I bought 2 Quadgrows and I am delighted with them. Tomato plants have only been in the pots for 3 weeks, grown to 5ft already with 3 trusses setting. Considering the sunless, cold, wet weather we have had, they are thriving well. I'm loving the fact I don't have to think about filling a watering can (the night before) to warm up etc.
I will be getting 2 chilligrows (hopefully) for my birthday :) (Posted on 21/06/2012)
Excellent piece of kit Review by Gareth
This took a little time to set up but in two weeks (of this very hot weather) has already saved me hours of watering time and gallons of water.

I have Chilis that are 5" long already on strong plants, with no use of green house. Straight from windowsil seed propagator to the Quadgrow outside.

I have used it in conjunction with the slug gone mulch and even with wind and daytime temp of 27deg in direct sun for 10 hours the compost is still damp 10mm below surface.

Only two things to improve would be a highly UV stable cream or white version, as the black stuff gets of enough to burn my hands and presumeably not help roots inside in direct sun. The holes to screw top on reservoir did not line up correctly and required a simple re-drill by me.

Overall this is a fantastic product and is so efficient in conserving water and growing good plants, it should be VAT exempt!!! (Posted on 28/05/2012)

Well made piece of kit. Review by Alan
I have just taken delivery of my quadgrow kit. (Quadgrow slim X2) I was very pleasantly surprised at the quality. It certainly looks like it will do the job. Everything is well made and of top quality. The only reason that I have given 4 stars not 5 is that I haven't grown anything yet, this rating is purely based on appearance.
I can't wait for the tomato season.
I have some Alaskan Fancy plants that I sowed very late with the idea of catching a late crop in the greenhouse. Bush tomatoes are probably not ideal for this system but I think I shall try planting two bushes into opposite ends of a quadgrow and perhaps put a tall chilli or two into the middle just to see what happens. I have a couple of Pimientos de padron plants that might do the job.
If it works well I may be tempted to turn the heat up a notch in the greenhouse and plant the other planter as well.
I like the idea of a steady water and feed supply for long periods - should mean an end to blossom end rot. Especially when you are away for a few days and someone else does the watering. 30 litres should last a fair while, and there is the option of the holiday reservoir if you want even more.

Miles better than tradition plant pots Review by julian
I grew peppers under identical conditions, in the Quadgrow and in a normal plant pot. The experiment wasn't completely scientific, but the Quadgrow plants grew at roughly three times the rate, and produced much healthier plants with a much bigger crop of fruit. Have since used it to grow fantastic basil. Two or three other people have bought them after seeing the results I was getting. (Posted on 21/09/2011)

water control valves quads are well made Review by smudge
