The tomatoes were planted on 11th March 2009. The sweet pepper was added a week later.
Height at planting: Ildi-29cm, Cristal-35cm, Tasty Grill Yellow-30cm.

The plants are planted into the Solargrow in the greenhouse.
The Cristal tomato being the first to fruit is proving to have good company in Ildi, an heirloom variety which is a delicious, miniature pear-shaped tomato borne in floriferous bunches.

Growth is spectacular and plenty of fruit are beginning to set.

The first fruit have been harvested from Ildi. These delicious, sweet, yellow tomatoes are great for lunchboxes. Cristal, meanwhile is producing some lovely big, red tomatoes. AGM awarded Cristal forms part of the RHS collection of vegetables.

Ildi continues to produce hundreds of small, sweet tomatoes!

Cristal has really come on in the last month or so with plenty of fruit ripening. Tasty Grill Yellow is almost 6ft tall!

While there hasn't been much harvesting over the past couple of weeks, all three plants are covered in unripe fruit and flowers so there'll be plenty more to come.

The final fruit have been harvested and the system dismantled. Total yields have been recorded.
