Harvests are 2x bigger when grown in a Quadgrow planter compared with grow bags or pots because it automatically waters your plants for 14 days at a time. Even better, it does it all without electricity or timers!

Each Quadgrow holds 4x plants and includes everything you need.

Why the Quadgrow works

  • The Quadgrow automatically waters plants, keeping soil at the perfect moisture level, never too dry or waterlogged.
  • Perfect moisture means roots have better access to oxygen which fuels faster growth and bigger harvests.
  • There's no risk of erratic watering, which means much less chance of root rot, split fruit and blossom end rot.

Self Watering!

The Quadgrow's FeederMats pull water up from the SmartReservoir into the soil around the roots – precisely where the plants need it - maintaining perfect moisture at all times. Growing an impressive crop is easy, and there's no need to worry about holiday watering.

Quadgrow with Holiday Extra Kit
The Holiday Extra Kit option includes a kit to link your Quadgrow(s) to a water butt (25L Water Butt Included) keeping your Smart Reservoir topped up for even longer.

Easy to use

  • Place the Quadgrow's FeederMats in the 4x pots, add compost and plants, add water to the Quadgrow's SmartReservoirs which sit below the pots.
  • Your plants will be perfectly fed and watered for around 14 days at a time.
  • We include free award-winning Nutrigrow plant food with feeding instructions. The feed will last you the whole season!

Quadgrow Media Review - Roger Backhouse - Garden Writer & Allotment Holder

Our Quadgrow self-watering planter is a great alternative to growing vegetables in pots and growbags and is the perfect way to grow your own tomatoes. The Quadgrow planter produces healthier plants and bigger harvests by providing plants with constant access to water without ever over-watering.

What happens when we overwater?
Overwatering prevents roots from accessing oxygen and is the number one cause of plant demise.

When soil is over-watered the pores in the soil become blocked and the roots can't access the air in the soil. Roots need access to oxygen in order to absorb water and nutrients, so lack of oxygen means that the roots can't take up water or nutrients. A plant weakened by overwatering is susceptible to disease, particularly fungal attacks. If the over-watering is repeated the roots suffocate and die.

What happens when we under-water?
Underwatered plants don’t have enough water to make glucose for photosynthesis, for developing cells and for two other critical functions.

1: Transporting nutrients and glucose
Water is needed to carry nutrients from the soil and glucose from the leaves to the other parts of the plant. This is why the calcium deficiency blossom end rot is often caused by erratic watering even if there is sufficient calcium in the soil but not enough water to transport it to the tomatoes.

2: Accessing carbon dioxide
Plants access the carbon dioxide they need for photosynthesis by opening the pores on their leaves and stems. When the pores open they also release water. If the plant is short of water it won't open the pores as often and therefore it won't photosynthesise as much, which will lead to lack of glucose and stunted growth. Sunny, hot weather and windy conditions increase the rate of water loss through the pores, so plants need more water in these conditions.
