After 4 months growing in our Root Veg Planter, we’ve harvested our Pink Fir Apple potatoes. Pink Fir Apple is an old potato variety which dates back to 1850. This late main crop potato variety has made a comeback in recent years and produces long, knobbly pink skinned tubers with butter yellow, waxy flesh. It has a great nutty flavour and is great boiled, steamed, baked or in salads. For handy & tips on growing your own potatoes click here
