Potting on Coleus cuttings

Thursday, 7 November 2013 09:29:03 Europe/London

After 2 weeks in our Hydropod Cuttings Propagator our Coleus cuttings are ready to be potted on. This tropical plant is a soft wood variety and makes a good house plant. After transplanting our Gardening Angel James has moved the Coleus into our Vitopod Heated Propagator to keep warm and avoid moisture loss while the roots establish themselves.

Have a look at our propagation advice guide if you would like to have a go at growing your own cuttings.

Do you recommend using a stimulant to encourage the growth of roots in the hydropod? Or is plain water enough? Regards Phil.
