Wilma is the most popular hydroponic system in Europe.
The eco-friendly system has a positive impact on the environment by re-using water. It is the perfect way of becoming self-sufficient so that you can grow your own food for the whole family.
Ideal if you like the idea of the bigger crops that hydroponics gives you but you want to keep things natural by using pots and soil.
Simply plant-up, plug it in, set the timer and let the Wilma automatically feed your plants little and often.
The Wilma's hidden reservoir below the pots has a pump which drips water into the pots several times per day. What the plant doesn't need drains into the reservoir to be pumped into the pots again and again. Because the drain-off is thorough there's no water logged roots so no root rot and the root zone stays well-oygenated, healthy and effective at taking up water and nutrients.
The Wilma is perfect for experimenting with different types of growing media – it can be used with soil, Plagron 60/40 or clay pebbles! See what works best for your plants!
Setting up your Wilma is super simple:
- Place your plants into the Wilma pots filled with soil, Plagron 60/40 or clay pebbles.
- Add water and your Nutrigrow plant nutrients (or any hydroponic nutrient) to the Wilma reservoir
- Set the timer, recommended settings are included
- For even better results, follow the pH checking guide weekly
- Every 14 days empty the reservoir and refill your Wilma with fresh water and nutrients.
- Get ready for bumper crops!
