Heavy rain and warm temperatures create ideal breeding conditions for slugs. Slug Gone pellets stop slugs and snails from eating your plants. These organic slug pellets are made from sheep wool which irritates the slug's foot, so they go off elsewhere to eat somebody else's plants! To keep slugs and snails away from your plants, place the Slug Gone pellets in plant pots, or place around the individual plants in your garden, veg plot or allotment to stop slugs in their tracks.

Slug Gone is safe to use around pets and children, as the pellets do not contain any harmful chemicals. These slug pellets are great value as they remain effective for 12 months from wetting.

Once the pellets begin to biodegrade the phosphates, potash and nitrate naturally occurring in the wool act as a slow release fertiliser nourishing your soil - which makes them perfect for organic gardeners.

Slug Gone pellets are made from British wool.

The pellets are wetted to expand and form a felt blanket-like barrier which won’t wash away and remains active for 12 months.

The potassium naturally in the wool absorbs slime from the slug’s foot and the wool fibre’s fine scales, small barbs and abrasive particles, make the pellets gritty. The pellets form such an abrasive and irritating barrier that the slugs won’t cross it and they go off to find easier feeding elsewhere.

The pellets hold twice their weight in water, so it acts as a moisture retaining mulch and weed suppressant and the phosphates, potash and nitrate naturally occurring in the wool act as a slow release fertiliser nourishing your soil.
